I think that deep down I always wanted to be an artist, but I didn’t have the framework or the education to follow that path.<\/div>\n
I went to fashion design school and worked in textile design, embroidery, fashion design and food jobs for several years until the day I decided to put my passion at the centre of my life and live life as an artist. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

What inspires you on a daily basis?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Everything inspires me, my eyes work every day, all the time, wherever I go and whatever I do. Sometimes it’s a fragment of an image that can give me a creative idea, an impulse of colour. <\/span><\/div>\n

I’m also inspired by the people around me, my friends and passers-by.<\/span><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Where did your inspiration for this project come from? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For this project, I wanted to create a universal motif, like a Marianne (the personification of the French Republic). A forward-looking woman, alongside nature, as if in the early stages of her journey.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Can you tell us about the creative process behind this embroidery and the elements you chose to evoke \"Octobre Rose\"?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I did several sketches, researching movements, attitudes and details. I wanted to portray an everyday woman. How it looked was very important to me, and with the plants I wanted to evoke several aspects of the disease, including the positive, such as hope, healing and renewal.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What does it mean to you to take part in a project to support SOS Cancer du Sein for Octobre Rose?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I’m very happy and touched to be able to take part in this project for so many reasons. One of them is the desire to support women with breast cancer. The idea was also to create a motif that would take me out of my comfort zone and reflect the profundity of the subject.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
