A true philosophy of life based on nature, simplicity and balance, Nordic countries are home to spas that combine health, well-being and relaxation.
origins
The invention of the Nordic spa, sometimes called the Scandinavian spa, is closely linked to the age-old traditions of thermotherapy in Scandinavia. Saunas, cold baths and natural hot springs have long been used by Nordic peoples for health benefits.
the benefits
Nordic spas, combining the invigorating warmth of saunas with immersion in cold waters and the beauty of the Nordic landscape, offer an incomparable wellness experience.
This alternating thermotherapy promotes deep relaxation, stimulates blood circulation, boosts the immune system and relieves stress. Cosmetic benefits include radiant skin and deeply cleansed pores.
These sanctuaries of relaxation encourage meditation, relaxation and mental clarity. Nordic spas are an oasis of regeneration for body and mind.
instructions for use
STAGE 1: HOT 10 to 15 minutes in the sauna of your choice. Your body stores the heat, the pores dilate and toxins are evacuated.
STAGE 2: COLD
10 to 15 seconds in a pool of cold water or under an icy waterfall. The transition from hot to cold produces a thermal shock that releases adrenaline.
STAGE 3: REST
20 minutes’ rest in one of the many relaxation areas. After the thermal shock, rest allows the adrenaline to evaporate, making way for the endorphins.
